Week 97

Well this week seemed like a really long week, but we did have a family come to church that wants to get baptized. They already love the church, but they just need to get married. The good news is that they want to. Bad news is that they have to go back to Paraguay to do the tramites [formalities].

Also the new missionaries all got here, so it was pretty crazy here. This next week we have a conference that we are planning on doing. It’s going to be great!

Week 96

Well this week we went to Bariloche to help out over there. I did intercambios with Elder Pineda de México and Elder Vera de Chile. We put a baptismal date with Cristian (there's a foto). There was a good amount of snow there too, so that was kind of cool. Elder Pineda is going home this week and Elder Vera is just starting the mission. Elder Vera will be a great missionary.

We also did some visits in our area. I showed my card for my Eagle Scout award to a guy here that is crazy for scouts, and he loved it. I took a pic of it, and I think he wants to do something for his scouting program here that’s similar now.

Well that’s about it. The work is going slow in our area. Hopefully we can get some time to get everything going here in Limay so we can baptize some more people.

Week 95

Well not much happened this week. We went to Plaza Huincul to help with an activity with the youth. Also I saw my old Comp, Elder Mendoza, so that was fun. Me and my comps gave talks at the activity, and then the next day we took a group of kids out to go contacting to give them an experience of the mission. It was a good activity.

Other than that we have been trying to plan a conference with all the liders that will last a whole day. We need to capaciate [train] everyone because they are all pretty young in the mission. Other than that we did very little visitas por esta semana. And we have transfers this week so we will be doing a lot of things with Presidente.

Week 94

Well this week was a little crazy. We were doing intercambios with a lot of other missionaries because President was doing interviews. So we went with them to see how the missionaries were working and what we could do to better help capacitate [train] them. So I’ve got a lot of pics that we took while on the trip. We passed by Rincon, Chos Malal, Zapala, y Plaza Huincul. I saw a lot of old friends, but I didn’t get very many pics with them.

Also, we are trying to contact a ton of people, and in the 3 days we were in their areas we found a lot of people that were really prepared, especially in Rincon. Yep, and one of our investigators that we talked to came to church, and he really liked it. He will get baptized here in a bit.

Week 93

Well this week was pretty crazy. I am now back in Neuquén, and I am with Elder Stuart and Elder Ortiz as Assistant. They called me early to get me trained before Elder Stuart goes home in three weeks. Well that’s about all the news I have. I just got here, and we are doing a lot of things here to help the mission. Hopefully next week I’ll have more to share, but I don’t know our investigators that well here. But ya, we will be doing a lot of stuff with a lot of missionaries so I'll have a lot of photos. Well that’s about it.
